In 1974 I was born in Mol (Belgium) . My parents have always kept birds.
I  have been 10 when I had my own birds.
The birds that I had started were the Munchener and the Yorkshire, that I had years and successfully. The Munchener even some gold and silver medals at the world championships in Reims and Amiens.
Meanwhile I am married and living in Balen. Fife's I started growing mid 90s. After several visits to a breeder friend (Philippe Box) looking for Muncheners, I bought me some couples Fife's with him. He was  Belgium's top breeder of Fife ath that moment.
After some years these birds have bred, I visited as many, each year the National in England. There were some 800 to 1000's fife's. Ath the National itself  I bought a program and immediately began to Fife's all good spots in the catalog.
After one years or two to have done this I came to the conclusion that the birds that I designate, and for me good birds were often from the same breeder were. This person turned out to be the top in England.
Until the day today (19-11-2009), this man, Gerald Spencer is one of the leading breeders. After one call I asked Mr. Spencer to bring me some pairs to the National.
As agreed, I bought 5 couples, these couples I cross in my blood line.
The first years without success but we persevered and selected very strictly. I can now say that I am a very strong line and good birds have expanded by 80% blood of Gerald Spencer his birds.
To improve my yellow fife's  I joined Jeff Hamlett, another English breeder it should have been in 2005. Now this year on 25 October 2009 I visited Jeff Hamlett to get 2 cock's, one clear yellow & one clear buff cock.
On this visit I also connected  a visit to the North West Fife fancy show in Rainford. Through my friend David Shelbourne who was also at this show, and mediated, I bought back a green man from Gerald Spencer.
I hope these birds  improve my blood line.
